The Mothwurf company is based in Gratkorn, a few kilometres upstream from Graz. Its history began 1988 with its first collection which was designed by Stefanie and Helmut Schramke in Graz.
From the idea of breaking with traditional folk dress, a new style developed with their first pieces which, much to the surprise of the designers, was spontaneously perceived by many as the expression of their own fashionable feel.. |

Since the realisation of this personal dream had thus proved to be a solid basis, this principle was further remained faithful to. Mothwurf has, in all aspects, stayed a company that lives from the emotional closeness of all those involved. For this reason, the German-speaking part of Europe is the heart of the company´s sales area. |
